Agreement
Once you reserve tickets on this site, you are deemed to have agreed
to the terms and conditions set forth below. Once you have clicked
the 'I Agree to the Terms and conditions' button, you have entered
into a formal agreement with KSRTC for the purpose of transactions
on this website. If a user violates the terms and conditions or use
by registering more than one user id and or booking tickets on such
multiple userid, KSRTC reserves the right to deactivate all such
user registration and cancel any or all ticket booked using these
registrations without any notice. KSRTC's performance of this
agreement is subject to existing laws and legal processes of
Government of India, and nothing contained in this agreement is in
derogation of KSRTC's right to comply with law enforcement requests
or requirements relating to your use of this website or information
provided to or gathered by KSRTC with respect to such use. You agree
that KSRTC may provide details of your use of the website to
regulators or police or to any other third party, or in order to
resolve disputes or complaints which relate to the website, at
complete discretion of KSRTC.
If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid
or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not
limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set
forth herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be
deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most
closely matches the intent of the original provision and the
reminder of the agreement shall continue in effect.
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between
the customer and KSRTC with respect to this website and it
supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and
proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between the
customer and KSRTC with respect to this website. A printed version
of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall
be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon
or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the
same conditions as other business documents and records originally
generated and maintained in printed form.
This agreement is made
between: KSRTC and The User - individual, whose details are
set out in the User Registration page.
Our
Deliverables: We agree to provide online ticket booking
facility to users who agree to the terms and conditions set forth in
this document.
In this
agreement, the following terms have the meanings stipulated against
each: KSRTC - Kerala State Road Transport
Corporation.
Ticket - Means any ticket issued by us. It
is an authorization to travel using our ticket booking facility for
the specified journey over the network of KSRTC.
E-ticket - Refers to a reservation booked
on this website, for the consummation of which the customer prints
out an Electronic Reservation Slip which, along with the concerned
authorized personal identification, constitutes the authority to
travel, in lieu of the regular ticket on standard Stationery.
M-ticket - Communicated to the passenger
through Mobile phone, while reserving ticket through online.
Regarding tickets issued through reservation counter / private
franchise counter, M tickets will not be provided. A passenger
reserved through online can travel in the bus using M Ticket.
Informative Message - Before departure of
bus from source station, an informative message will be communicated
to all reserved passengers (Online tickets and counter tickets) while
preparing conductor chart. Message contains contact number of the
crew and Bonnet number of the bus. This message will not be
considered as M Ticket.
Charting time - The time at which the
chart for a particular service is prepared.
ERS (Electronic Reservation Slip) - The
printout in standard specified Performa containing reservation
particulars, and instructions for use that can be used by the
passenger along with the relevant authorized Identification, as
travel authority for performing the journey. The user of the ERS is
governed by these rules and the instructions that are available on
the ERS itself.
Authorized ID - Proof of identity of the
passenger.
Security:
All payments towards the cost of the tickets issued will be through
one of the payment mode provided on the payment page. To ensure
security, your card details are NOT stored in our Website.
Advance
Booking: Normally 30 days advance booking is possible.
However the number of days fixed for advance booking is liable to be
changed.
Maximum
Tickets: A maximum of SIX SEATS can be booked per ticket
at a time for a specified journey.
Booking through Internet
is allowed round-the-clock on all days including Sundays and
holidays. However current booking of e-tickets is possible only up to
the charting time for that bus or one hour before the scheduled
departure time from the starting place whichever is earlier.
Bus Stops:
Bus stops and boarding points are defined for different types of
services. A passenger can board the bus from his pick up point
mentioned in the reservation ticket only. Under any circumstance he /
she wish to change the pick up point, it should be intimated to the
crew when informative message is communicated. If the same is not
communicated to the crew well in advance, passenger will have no
right for claiming the seat after the pick up point from where ticket
was reserved.
Reserved passenger has the right to board /
alight only at mentioned pick up / drop down point mentioned in his /
her ticket.
For Super class services, bus stops only
at allotted points.

KSRTC supply the service to
you with reasonable care and skill. All rules and regulations
applicable for reservation of seats and charging of fare for
reservation also apply to reservation through the Internet.
All efforts are being made
to ensure the prompt and timely service of the buses. KSRTC will
not be liable for any delay/cancellation of service due to
extraneous reasons.
Basic ticket fare of KSRTC
is shown in the reservation portal. While reserving tickets through
online, reservation charges, service charge, luxury tax (For AC
services) payment gateway charges shall be paid in extra. If
tickets are reserved through KSRTC counters / franchisees. Payment
gateway charges and service charge will be excluded.
Actual fare on the date of journey will be realized from
the passenger i.e. if the reservation is made before any fare
revision and the actual date of journey takes place after the fare
revision, the revised rate of fares will be made applicable and the
difference in fares be collected inside the bus at the time of
journey.
Rs.10/- per seat is charged for passengers booking seats in advance through online and counters.
Reservation Fee is non-refundable.
Luxury tax is levied for travel in AC buses as ordered by Govt. of India which is levied @5% of basic ticket charge.
All transactions on Internet
are subject to the conditions stipulated by the Financial Gateway
and subject to levy of charges,

Your booking and reservation
will be confirmed online, after completion of transaction process
successfully. An unique transaction ID will be automatically
generated which should be kept safetly for future reference All
charges including , fees, duties, taxes etc will be realized from
the customer.
If, for any reason, there is failure of transaction /
reservation, the entire amount debited from your card account will
be credited back automatically with in seven banking days.
E-tickets can be cancelled through our reservation portal and counter tickets can be cancelled at any of our reservation counters.
Tickets purchased from private franchisee counters can be cancelled only at the respective counter.
Reservation charges/ Bank charges / Payment Gateway charges are not subject to refund.
If any service having advance reservation facility is cancelled, the same will be intimated to all reserved passengers from the concerned unit from where the bus operates.
In case of service cancellation, alternate traveling facility will be arranged by KSRTC.
Under any circumstance, if alternate arrangements cannot be made, the same will be intimated to all reserved passengers. In such case, passenger is eligible for hundred percent refund of ticket fare (Excluding reservation / payment gateway charges).
After cancellation, amount will be credited back only to the bank account from which payment was made. Change of account number is not possible while effecting refund.
For e-tickets, cancellation is possible through Internet. Passenger will get a cancellation ticket/receipt and KSRTC will credit the amount of refund due, to the customer's account.
No cash refund will be allowed. The amount paid by the customer will be refunded electronically after deducting cancellation charges.
The cancellation charge is determined by the KSRTC's rules for cancellation based on the time of cancellation and the status of the ticket.
The service charge is not refunded.
Cancellation of counter tickets can be done through any of the KSRTC Online Reservation counters during the working hours of each counter.
To cancel a ticket, the customer will have to submit a requisition with the ticket at a KSRTC Reservation counter.
Reservation counter will refund the allowable cancellation amount along with a cancellation ticket/receipt.
Cancellation of tickets can be done up to two hour before the scheduled departure time from the starting place or before the charting time whichever is earlier.

Passenger should carry authorized ID mentioned while booking the e-ticket in original during journey and same will be accepted as proof of identity failing which the ticket will be considered as void.
Preponement / postponement of tickets is allowed for tickets booked through KSRTC counters and franchisee counters only.
Preponement / postponement of tickets is allowed upto 24 hours prior to departure time.
Change in number of passengers (including composition) is not allowed.
Preponed / postponed ticket is allowed cancellation under 50% refund slab only.

Passengers can book their link tickets through the KSRTC counters and Franchisee counters. Passengers who can reach their destination by booking the tickets in two services.
The minimum time gap between two link buses will be 1hrs. And the reservation fee will be treated as fee for a single seat.
Passengers who booked in interstate services are eligible for free travel in FAST PASSENGER and below classes of services to their boarding point.
To avail this offer, please carry your travel document and ID Card.
Free travel can be avail up to 30KM from Boarding point and free travel is allowed only up to two hours before the departure time from boarding point.
Discount for Return Ticket:
If the passenger Books a ticket with return journey- 10% discount on return journey basic fare.
Group Discount:
A passenger Books a group ticket, the reservation fee will be treated as fee for a single seat. Minimum of 4 Tickets to be booked by a single transaction.
Passenger can modify the boarding point or dropping point after booking. And this feature is available in counter tickets.
